Denis Mulvihill and Billy Joe Ratcliff arrested three Jonesville men on drugs and a weapons charge Dec. 2 following a traffic stop near the Concordia Parish Courthouse in Vidalia. Deputies recovered a pistol and four bags of marijuana from the black Ford Mustang driven by James Chatman III, 27. Passengers were Darrell Hollins, 24, and Jametrius Norris, 22. All were charged with possession of Schedule I drugs with intent to distribute, and carrying of a weapon while in possession of controlled dangerous substance. Chatman was additionally charged with having no insurance. Assisting at the scene were Sgts. Larry Lawrence, and Deputies Jimmy Watts, Stephen Karabelen and Joe Ardoin.
