posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
Ferriday Police Chief Richard Madison is asking everyone to wear their seat belts to ensure their safety.

"We are asking this to save lives," Madison said. "We want to work with the public and protect them in every way we can."

Madison said he and all officers will be available to anyone who has any questions or suggestions.

"We are here to serve the people," Madison said. "That's why I am begging for people to be careful and obey all laws. We want to put their safety first."
