Concordia reported 6,722 workers employed and 718 unemployed. In neighboring parishes, Catahoula's unemployment rate was 9.3 percent with 3,670 employed, and 378 jobless; Franklin, 11.9 percent, 6,427 with jobs, 870 unemployed; and Tensas, 11.7 percent, 1,501 employed, 198 unemployed.
