Who do you think should manage Ferriday water?|

As good as LSU fans felt at the end of September last year may be about as bad as LSU fans feel about their team this year.
And with good reason.
Last year, LSU posted impressive wins over Oregon, Northwestern State, Mississippi State and West Virginia in September.
Besides an impressive showing against Washington, LSU has slept-walked through wins over North Texas, Idaho, Auburn and Towson.
October was more impressive with easy wins over Kentucky, Florida, Tennessee and Auburn.
I don't see anything easy this month with Florida, South Carolina and Texas A&M coming up this month.
Injuries, inconsistency and lack of emotion and swag are setting the Tigers up for a major fall in October, and that's even before Nick Saban comes to town on Nov. 3, no doubt secretly licking his chops.
J.C. Copeland is the latest key player to go down.
Copeland was injured late in the contest against Towson when he should have been standing on the sidelines without pads.
Of course, we're still not certain of the seriousness of the injury. After all, there were conflicting stories on Chris Faulk before it was revealed he was out for the season, and Alfred Blue's injury was thought to be minor before it finally came out he was out for the season.
Will LSU be playing in a BCS bowl? Yes. Will it be in THE BCS game? At this point, I would have to say no. The trip to Gainesville will be a nightmare if the same LSU team that showed up the last two weeks shows up in The Swamp.
South Carolina is no gimmee and Mississippi State plays LSU tough at times when clearly outmatched. They are not as much outmatched this year.
We won't even begin discussing the Alabama game. It is apparent now why Miles did not play Zach Mettenberger in BCS game last year.
But I still don't have the answer for why Jarrett Lee did not play.
Now some folks are calling for Stephen Rivers to get more of a look. Sorry folks, that's now how Miles operates. You should know that by now. He had chances against North Texas and Washington, but I guess Miles was fine-tuning. I tried to say that with a straight face.
Mettenberger has a different kind of cockiness than Tyler Mathieu, although he hasn't been able to show it much after a game.
Mathieu's swag revolved around the team. Mettenberger seems to be more of a me type of guy.
The play-calling also seems a bit suspect, which is disappointing after all the preseason talk of changes. Russell Shepard goes 78 yards for a touchdown and then doesn't touch the ball but one more time the whole game on a pass?
Looks like a good place for a SMH for shaking my head at this point.
Is this team overrated? Right now the answer is yes.
I don't know what happened. Did Isaac drop some bad drinking water at the LSU and Saints' practice facility and it's just now getting to the water buckets? If that's the case, thank goodness it veered off before reaching Monroe and Ruston.
The obvious good news is that LSU undefeated going into October.
The bad news — it's October.
