Reception Oct. 31 for FSA's Smith posted Wednesday, October 24th, 2012 @ 12:42 pm  E-mail Story |  Print Story  A reception will be held for Concordia Farm Service Agency longtime employee Lisa Smith at 1 p.m. on Oct. 31. Smith has accepted a new position with FSA and will be leaving the local office on Nov. 2. Kevin H. Case, FSA County Executive Director, says the public is invited to attend the reception. Smith has worked for the parish FSA as a Program Technician for the past 15 years. She has been responsible for field compliance, acreage reports, cotton loans, as well as the counter. Smith will be trained as a Farm Loan Officer, according to Case. He said her new duties will consist of making and serving agricultural loans to Louisiana farmers.
