posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
A total of 314 early votes had been cast by 10 a.m. Wednesday for the Nov. 6 election, according to Registrar of Voters Golda Ensminger.

Ensminger said early voting will continue through Oct. 30, with the exception of Sunday, Oct. 28. Early voting hours are 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

"It's a pretty active turnout," Ensminger said this morning (Wednesday).

She said early voters should bring a current Louisiana driver's license or other state-issued identification card.

Voters will cast ballots in the Presidential race, Fifth District Congressional race and local races.

Nine constitutional amendments will also be on the ballot as will a proposition on limiting School Board members to three consecutive four-year terms.
