"We schemed to run right at them. We had some drives, but could not finish them off. We hopped into the spread and liked what we saw." Quarterback Thomas Garrity was 7-of-12 for 173 yards, including touchdown passes of 65 yards to Parker Rymer and 17 yards to Kyle Bradley. Christian Jenkins rushed for 109 yards and a touchdown. Cathedral hosts Hinds Friday. A win would clinch third place for the Green Wave (5-3 overall and 4-3 in Region 4-1A. A loss would put the Wave out of the playoffs. "This is a playoff game for us," Rushing said. "Hinds is very athletic. They run the ball right at you and their defense has a number of athletes. They only give up 12 points a game."
