Arrests made in Fred's burglary, expected in Vaughn's Ferriday Police arrested this week three parish residents accused of stealing approximately one-half million dollars worth of merchandise from Fred's Department Store in Ferriday over the course of a year.
Arrests are also anticipated in the recent break-in at Vaughan's Drugs.
Yolanda Marie Sommersville, 35, 98 Nelson St., Clayton; Kenneth Griffin, 22, 514 Kentucky Ave., Ferriday and Darius Cain, 25, 111 Crescent Drive, Ferriday were all charged with felony theft in the Fred's case.
