posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
Vidalia Junior High was vandalized Monday night for the second time in a month after burglars broke into a classroom and the concession stand in the gym.

Vidalia Junior High principal Whest Shirley said soft drinks were poured on computers and candy was taken from the concession stand. Shirley said Vidalia Police, a Louisiana State Trooper and Concordia Parish Sheriff's Office deputies arrived soon after the break-in and heard the alleged burglars behind the gym in the woods.

Shirley said the burglars got away, but some evidence was collected.

Shirley said the burglars broke a door to a classroom and broke the door to the concession stand.

Earlier this month, two cars, a van and the Block High School bus was broken into during a basketball game. Also, Shirley's tires were cut.
