Vidalia High senior Erin Fuller was crowned Miss Vidalia Saturday at the Miss Vidalia Pageant held at the Vidalia Conference and Convention Center.

"I was very excited," Fuller said. "I went in just wanting to have fun with no expectations."

Fuller, who also won the award for "Best Interview," said the pageant was not as hard are as stressful as she first thought it might be.

"I don't think any of us were nervous," she said. "We have been practicing for three weeks and we were ready. The best part was how much fun it was with the other girls."

Fuller, the daughter of David and Dawn Moss and John and Amanda Fuller, said she plans on doing whatever she can over the next year to help Vidalia continue growing.

"I want to be a part of everything in the community," she said.

Fuller plans on attending Southeastern Louisiana in Hammond, studying nursing and becoming a neonatal nurse.

Vidalia senior Laura Perrilloux was named Most Photogenic.

Kiariel Phipps and Mercedes Moffett tied for Miss Congeniality.

Perrilloux was named first runner-up. Stephanie Sandifer was second runner-up, Moffett was third runner-up, while Linda Ngo was fourth runner-up.
