Clerk of Court gets clean audit
by Stanley Nelson - posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
The Concordia Parish Clerk of Court received a clean audit for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2012.

The CPA firm of Silas Simmons in Natchez conducted the annual audit and reported no findings, while noting that the clerk's office completed the year with no debt outstanding.

"It's a good audit," Clerk of Court Clyde Ray Webber said. "We follow the direction of the auditors and have been doing things the way they tell us for so long that it has become routine."

The audit noted that for the fiscal year, the clerk's office's ending governmental fund balance totaled $389,541 an increase of $59,033 over the previous fiscal year's total of $330,508.

Total spending for all judicial activities amounted to $676,395 while total revenues totaled $735,428.
