New Road man booked in burglaries

The Concordia Parish Sheriff's Office has arrested a New Roads man for three burglaries that occurred over the past few days.

Cornelius Kelly, 28, was booked by CPSO Tuesday and charged in the burglaries of the Handitrak in Clayton and Sonny's Food Mart in Wildsville.

According to Lt. Phillip Webber, CPSO also booked Kelly on warrants for the Ferriday Police Department on two counts of simple burglary, one count of simple criminal damage to property and aggravated burglary in the break-in of Graham's Jiffy Mart.
