Lenton "L. J." Guidry, Sr. born on July 9, 1929 in Arnaudville and passed away October 9, 2010, at the VA Hospital Palliative Care Unit in Pineville.

Services were held at Young's Funeral in Ferriday on October 12, 2010 at 12 p.m.

Burial was held at Greenlawn Cemetery in Natchez with Father Louis Sklar officiating.
